BREAK IN
(NORTH STORMONT,ON) – On December 01, 2017 at approximately 6:14am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a business on County Road 9, North Stormont Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime overnight November 30, 2017 culprit(s) entered a business and removed Canadian Currency and Parcels.
An investigation continues.
EXCESSIVE SPEEDS
(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – On December 1, 2017, SD&G Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401, South Stormont Townships and intercepted the following vehicle for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicle was impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– December 1, 2017 – 1:44pm (South Stormont) vehicle stopped travelling 154km/h (100km/h zone). Female driver (18) from Richmond Hill, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – On December 2, 2017 at approximately 2:31am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were conducting a RIDE (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) Program on Cornwall Centre Road, South Stormont Township.
The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Christoph HALLER (27) of South Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Drive a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on December 28, 2017.
IMPAIRED DRIVER
(SOUTH STORMONT,ON) – On December 3, 2017 at approximately 1:14am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a motor vehicle collision on County Road 2, South Stormont Township.
The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Drew MCBRIDE (23) of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Drive a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood
– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on December 28, 2017.
