( EMBRUN, ON) – The Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police investigated a collision involving a school bus and a commercial truck on December 13, 2017.
At approximately 5:30 PM, a yellow school bus was travelling eastbound on Route 500 W, West of Embrun when it collided with a sanitation truck travelling westbound.
There were five students in the bus and one passenger in the truck at the time of the collision. They were all examined by paramedics for minor injuries and only the bus driver was transported to the hospital for none life-threatening injuries.
The collision is still under investigation.
