(LEEDS, ON.) – Officers of the Leeds and the Thousand Islands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) assisted in rescuing an injured swan over the weekend.
In the early afternoon of March 17, 2018 the assistance of OPP officers was requested with an injured swan on the bicycle path on the Thousand Islands Parkway. Further concerns were with the attention the swan was drawing, a collision could occur.
