THREATS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 22-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 17th, 2018 and charged with threats and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 14th, 2018 the woman threatened to harm her ex-boyfriend, as well as two other men known to her, and police were contacted to investigate. On April 17th, 2018 the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as it would identify the victims in the matter.
Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Alexandria youth was arrested on April 17th, 2018 and charged with threats and breach of youth probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 13th, 2018, the youth made threats to harm a woman known to him and police were contacted. On April 17th, 2018 the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act
MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON – Shain Martin, 18, of Cornwall was arrested on April 17th, 2018 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on April 12th, 2018, the man kicked a vehicle being driven by a man known to him, causing damage to the vehicle. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 17th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 17th, 2018.
