Pierrefonds Man Gets Multiple Weapon Charges in Cornwall Ontario #ccps April 19, 2018

POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, POSSESSION OF A STOLEN CREDIT CARD, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Mathieu Lamarche, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on April 18th, 2018 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a stolen credit card, and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 18th, 2018 the man was spotted operating a stolen vehicle. The man was taken into custody, and was found to also be in possession of a stolen credit card. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 31st, 2018.

ASSAULT, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – A 23-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 18th, 2018 and charged with assault and threats. It is alleged during an argument on April 18th, 2018, the woman assaulted her boyfriend and threatened to damage his property. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 22nd, 2018. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.



ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON, CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON, USING FIREARM IN COMMISSION OF OFFENCE, USING IMITATION FIREARM IN COMMISSION OF OFFENCE, UNAUTHORIZED POSSESSION OF WEAPON IN MOTOR VEHICLE, POINTING A FIREARM, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Logan Munro, 21, of Pierrefonds, QC was arrested on April 18th, 2018 and charged with the following:

• Assault with a weapon
• Carrying a concealed weapon
• Using firearm in commission of offence
• Using imitation firearm in commission of offence
• Unauthorized possession of weapon in motor vehicle
• Pointing a firearm
• Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• Threats

It is alleged on April 1st, 2018 while at a party, the man pointed a handgun at a woman not known to him. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On April 18th, 2018 the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 31st, 2018.

There were 55 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in the last 24 hours (8am the previous day to 8am the day of the release).
