(Prescott, ON.) – On 30 June 2018 at approximately 6:53 a.m., Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to the scene of a single vehicle fatal collision on Highway 416 southbound in Edwardsburgh Township – north of Spencerville.
Preliminary investigation has indicated that the motor vehicle containing seven individuals lost control and rolled over.
One occupant was pronounced deceased at the scene of the collision. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
One person has been airlifted to the hospital and the remaining occupants were transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Traffic is being rerouted at County Road 20/Oxford Station Road until further notice.
The Ontario Provincial Police Technical Collision Investigator is assisting with the investigation.
