Ottawa Massage Therapist charged with Sexual assault
(Ottawa) –Today, the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse (SACA) Unit has charged an Ottawa man with 1 count of Sexual Assault as a result of an incident that occurred in March 2018 involving a female victim in her early 20’s.
The incident occurred while the man was in the course of his employment as a Registered Massage Therapist in a clinic in the West end of Ottawa. The man was alone with the patient at the time.
John ACKERMAN, 52 years old, of Ottawa is scheduled to appear in show cause court today.
Investigators believe that there may be other victims and are asking them to contact police.
