THEFT UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – A 14-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on October 29th, 2018 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged the youth took a quantity of money from his mother without permission and police were contacted to investigate. On October 29th, 2018 the youth was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. His name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Darquise Deguire, 34, of Cornwall was arrested on October 29th, 2018 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to report. It is alleged the woman failed to report on October 11th & 24th, 2018, despite her conditions, and an investigation ensued. On October 29th, 2018 the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
THREATS

THEFT UNDER $5000, UNLAWFUL USE OF CREDIT CARD, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Steven Coleman, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on October 29th, 2018 and charged with the following:
• Theft under $5000 x 4
• Breach of probation x 4 (failing to keep the peace)
• Breach of recognizance (failing to remain in residence)
• Unlawful use of credit card
It is alleged on October 8th, 2018, the man took a purse belonging to someone unknown to him and used a credit card without the owner’s permission. Further, the man allegedly attended a Second Street business on October 11th, 2018 and removed a perfume bottle, making no attempt to pay for the item as he left the store. The man also allegedly attending a Pitt Street business on October 27th, 2018 and removed a quantity of money, as well as took a purse from a woman who was not known to him on October 29th, 2018. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On October 29th, 2018, police located the man. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
