Cornwall Police Charge ELIZABETH ALLIKAS w Hammer Threats 112918

WARRANT

Cornwall, ON – Jillian King, 31, of Snye, QC was arrested on November 28th, 2018 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman breached her recognizance and a warrant was obtained for her arrest. On November 28th, 2018, the woman was stopped at the Port of Entry and police were contacted. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on December 27th, 2018.

POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING COCAINE, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – As a result of an ongoing investigation by the CPS Street Crime Unit, Curtis Morrison, 28, of Cornwall, was arrested on November 28th, 2018 and charged with the following:

• possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
• possession of property obtained by crime
• breach of recognizance (failing to notify a change of address and failing to keep the peace)

It is alleged the man was in possession of a quantity of cocaine and Canadian currency on November 28th, 2018 and an investigation ensued. With the assistance of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

ROBBERY

Cornwall, ON – Nathan Marquis, 22, of Cornwall was arrested on November 28th, 2018 and charged with robbery. It is allege the man forcefully took a cell phone from a man unknown to him and fled the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The man was located by police shortly thereafter, at which time he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 27th, 2018.



ASSAULT, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE, THREATS

Cornwall, ON – Elizabeth Allikas, 21, of Cornwall was arrested on November 28th, 2018 and charged with assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and threats. It is alleged the woman assaulted and threatened another woman known to her while in possession of a hammer. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on December 27th, 2018.

POSSESSION OF BREAK-IN INSTRUMENTS, BREACH, POSSESION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE

Cornwall, ON – Martin Dulude, 28, of Marieville, QC was arrested on November 29th, 2018 and charged with possession of break-in instruments, possession of methamphetamine, as well as breach of probation for being in possession of break-in instruments and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during the early morning hours on November 29th, 2018, while police were called to investigate a suspicious vehicle, the man was found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and break-in instruments. He was taken into custody, was charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
