MALE ARRESTED FOR STOLEN CAR

 

(SOUTH GLENGARRY,ON) – On November 26, 2018, at approximately 10:11 a.m., members of SD&G OPP responded to a traffic complaint and intercepted a stolen car on Highway 401, South Glengarry, Ontario. The investigation revealed that a male youth was in possession of a stolen car from Toronto, Ontario.

 

A 15 year-old male of Toronto, Ontario was arrested and charged with;

 

– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

 

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on December 20, 2018. The name of the accused is being withheld in accordance with the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).

 

 

IMPAIRED DRIVER

 

(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) – On November 27, 2018, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 31, North Dundas Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.

 

Eric MOORE (42) of North Dundas, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

 

– Drive a Motor Vehicle while Impaired

– Drive a Motor Vehicle with over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in blood

 

He was released and is scheduled to appear in Cornwall Court December 13, 2018.




STOLEN CAR

 

(NORTH GLENGARRY,ON) – On November 27, 2018, at approximately 8:46 a.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a car from a residence on County Road 43, North Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime overnight November 26-27, 2018, a 2010 Maroon Chevrolet Impala, four door (plated- Ontario – BYZD 683) was removed from the property.

An investigation continues.
