MISCHIEF UNDER $5000
Cornwall, ON – Daniel O’Brien, 31, of Alexandria was arrested on January 14th, 2019 and charged with mischief under $5000. It is alleged on December 13th, 2018, the man damaged a car that did not belong to him and police were contacted to investigate. On January 14th, 2019, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on January 17th, 2019.
REFUSAL
Cornwall, ON – Amanpal Singh Hundal, 50, of Cornwall was arrested on January 14th, 2019 and charged with refusing to provide a sample of his breath. It is alleged the man failed to provide a proper sample of his breath upon demand during a traffic stop in the area of McConnell Avenue and Second Street. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 29th, 2019.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Martintown woman was arrested on January 14th, 2019 and charged with assault. It is alleged during an argument, the woman assaulted her mother and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on January 31st, 2019. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
