POSSESSION FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRAFFICKING COCAINE, POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME
Cornwall, ON – Alcide Ceasor, 56, of Cornwall was arrested on May 15th, 2019 and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, as well as possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged on May 15th, 2019, members of the Cornwall Police Service Street Crime Unit observed the man trafficking cocaine in the area of Walton Street and Alice Street. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 16-year-old Morrisburg youth was arrested on May 15th, 2019 and charged with assault. It is alleged on May 6th, 2019, the youth assaulted another youth known to her while at school and police were contacted to investigate. On May 15th, 2019, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANTS
Cornwall, ON – Devyn Seyeau, 23, of Cornwall was arrested on May 16th, 2019 on the strength of two warrants. It is alleged the man failed to attend court, as well as failed to attend for prints, and warrants were issued for his arrest. On May 16th, 2019, police located the man, at which time he was taken into custody on the strength of the warrants and released to appear in court on June 13th, 2019.
