MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION – ROADWAY CLOSED
Male driver with Life threatening injuries
(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are currently at the scene of a two (2) vehicle collision on County Road 2 between Marine Station Road and Binion Road in South Dundas Township.
Preliminary investigation has indicated that at approximately 1:55pm, a passenger vehicle was travelling eastbound on County Road 2 when, for reasons under investigation, collided with a westbound SUV.
The adult male driver of the eastbound passenger vehicle was transported via air ambulance to hospital with serious life threatening injuries.
The driver of the SUV and three other occupants were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
SD&G OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI).
Detours are in place on County Road 2 between Marine Station Road and Binion Road.
