(PRESCOTT, ON) – On June 29, 2019 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police officers from Grenville County (OPP) responded to a report of damage to a vehicle at Prescott Centre Drive, Prescott, Ontario.
A tractor trailer was parked at the rear of a gas bar when a window was smashed with a projectile. Shortly after this incident, a camper van was westbound on Highway 401 approaching the Prescott exit 716 when it was struck by a projectile on the driver’s side window, nearly striking the driver in the head. It is believed that the incidents are related.
Police have identified a vehicle of interest. It is described as a newer model white SUV. Photos accompany this release.
