DRIVE WHILE PROHIBITED, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – Michael Issac, 46 of Cornwall was arrested on July 31st, 2019 and charged with driving while prohibited and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 31st, 2019 the man was spotted driving a motor vehicle in the area of First Street and Pitt Street. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.

THREATS, POSSESSION OF A WEAPON FOR A DANGEROUS PURPOSE

Cornwall, ON – Stephen Donnely, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on July 31st, 2019 and charged with threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. It is alleged on July 31st, 2019 the man threatened two persons known to him and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a knife. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 29th, 2019.

ASSAULT, BREACH

Cornwall, ON – A 34-year-old Long Sault man was arrested on July 31st, 2019 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on July 31st, 2019 the man assaulted his ex-common-law wife and police were contacted to investigate. The man was later located, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released, as it would identify the victim in the matter.

There were 51 calls for service in the City of Cornwall in the last 24 hours (8am the previous day to 8am the day of the release).
