(STE-ANNE-DE-PRESCOTT, ON) – On August 3, 2019, just before 7 p.m., Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers from the Hawkesbury Detachment were called to investigate a single All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) collision on County Road 18, Ste-Anne-de-Prescott, Ontario.
Officers, assisted by United County of Prescott-Russell EMS and the East-Hawkesbury Fire Service, responded to a call of an ATV colliding with a tree. The driver, Chad Hicks, 41, of Cornwall, Ontario, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
OPP Technical Collision Investigator (TCI) and Reconstructionist are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
