THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Justin Watters-Lalonde, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on August 2nd, 2019 and charged with theft under $5000, as well as two counts of breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the man attended a Cornwall Square business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. He was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted. The man was subsequently taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on August 29th, 2019.
THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH YOUTH PROBATION
Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on August 2nd, 2019 and charged with theft under $5000, as well as breach of youth probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. Police were contacted and took the woman into custody. She was charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as the conditions stem from when the woman was a youth and is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANT, POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Francis Carver, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on August 3rd, 2019 on the strength of multiple warrants. It is alleged the man breached his probation and warrants were issued for his arrest. On August 3rd, 2019, police located the man who was allegedly in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine. He was taken into custody and charged with possession of a schedule I substance, as well breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. The man was held for a bail hearing.
IMPAIRED
Cornwall, ON – Devon Johnson, 20, of Cornwall was arrested on August 3rd, 2019 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. It is alleged while in the area of Second Street West and Yates Avenue, the man was found to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of drugs. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on August 13th, 2019.
POSSESSION OF PROPERTY OBTAINED BY CRIME
Cornwall, ON – Jacob Wollinger, 25, of Cornwall was arrested on August 3rd, 2019 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime. It is alleged the man was found in possession of a stolen bicycle on August 3rd, 2019 and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – Mike Manchulenko, 49, of Cornwall was arrested on August 3rd, 2019 and charged with assault. It is alleged the man assaulted someone known to him and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on September 12th, 2019.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Michael Masson, 32, of Williamstown was arrested on August 3rd, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man breached his probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 3rd, 2019, police located the man and took him into custody on the strength of the warrant. He was released to appear in court on September 12th, 2019.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT
Cornwall, ON – Laurent Lauzon, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on August 3rd, 2019 and charged with two counts of criminal harassment. It is alleged between July and August, the man repeatedly contacted a woman known to him and engaged in threatening conduct towards her family. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 3rd, 2019, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on September 12th, 2019.

Cornwall, ON – Douglas Locke, 26, of St. Thomas, ON was arrested on August 4th, 2019 and charged with breach of recognizance for failing to reside with his surety. It is alleged while investigating an unrelated matter on August 4th, 2019, police located the man in breach of his conditions. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and held for a bail hearing.

It is alleged on August 4th, 2019, the man had contacted his girlfriend and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
DOMESTIC BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 30-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 5th, 2019 and charged with breach of undertaking for contacting his ex-girlfriend. It is alleged on August 3rd, 2019, the man sent messages to his ex-girlfriend, despite his conditions, and police were contacted. On August 5th, 2019, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 17th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
