MISCHIEF UNDER $5000, THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 15-year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on August 23rd, 2019 and charged with mischief under $5000 and threats. It is alleged on August 1st, the youth made threats to harm someone known to her, as well as attended the residence of someone she did not know and damaged a window. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On August 23rd, 2019, the youth attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court at a later date. Her name was not released as per provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
ROBBERY, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Amanda Lalonde, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on August 23rd, 2019 and charged with robbery and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an altercation with a man she did not know, the woman obtained a quantity of cash from him and a brief struggle ensued before the woman fled the area. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. The woman was located shortly thereafter and was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 26th, 2019.
WARRANT, THEFT UNDER $5000, PERSONATION TO AVOID ARREST
Cornwall, ON – Jessica Albers, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on August 23rd, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. She was also charged with theft under $5000 and personation. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on March 12th, 2019 for an assault charge and a warrant was issued for her arrest. The woman was located on August 23rd, 2019 when she removed merchandise from a Second Street business without making any attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. Police attended, at which time the woman falsely identified herself to a police officer. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 44-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on August 24th, 2019 and charged with domestic assault. It is alleged during an argument with his girlfriend, the man assaulted her and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 17th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 65-year-old man of Granby, QC was arrested on August 24th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man sexually assaulted a person under the age of 16 who was known to him and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 24th, 2019, the man attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly, and released to appear in court on September 26th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
ASSAULT POLICE X 2
Cornwall, ON – Carlos Moran, 63, of Cornwall was arrested on August 24th, 2019 and charged with two counts of assault police. It is alleged while police were investigating an unrelated matter, the man assaulted two police officers. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 24th, 2019.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 41-year-old Embrun man was arrested on August 24th, 2019 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on July 23rd, 2019 for a domestic mischief offence and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On August 24th, 2019 police located the man and took him into custody on the strength of the warrant. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 24th, 2019. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
THEFT UNDER $5000, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Amanda Lalonde, 35, of Cornwall was arrested on August 25th, 2019 and charged with theft under $5000 and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged the woman attended a Second Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as she left the store. She was stopped by a Loss Prevention Officer and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, she was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing.
WARRANTS
Cornwall, ON – Angel Dore, 41, of Cornwall was arrested on August 25th, 2019 on the strength of multiple warrants. It is alleged the woman breached her probation, as well as failed to attend court on June 6th, 2019 for a breach offence and warrants were issued for her arrest. On August 25th, 2019 police located the woman and took her into custody on the strength of the warrants. The woman was held for a bail hearing.

Cornwall, ON – Tyler Trudell, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on August 25th, 2019 and charged with uttering threats. It is alleged the man made threats to harm a man known to him and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on September 26th, 2019.
