FAIL TO APPEAR FOR FINGERPRINTS, RESIST POLICE, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Jonathan Hall, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on February 22nd, 2020 and charged with the following:
• Resist arrest
• Fail to appear for fingerprints
• Breach of undertaking (for failing to abide by a curfew and failing to notify a change of address to police)
• Breach of probation (for failing to keep the peace)
It is alleged on February 7th, 2020, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints, as per his release order, as well as failed to provide his address to police. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. On February 22nd, 2020, during the early morning hours, police located the man outside, despite his curfew. He was taken into custody, at which time he resisted police and fled the area. He was located a short time later at which time he was charged accordingly and held in custody to await a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Kevin Ingola, 24, of Cornwall was arrested on February 22nd, 2020 and charged with breach of probation for failing to abide by a curfew and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during the early morning hours on February 22nd, 2020, while responding to a disturbance call, police located the man away from his residence, despite his curfew. An investigation ensued and the man was taken into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 26th, 2020.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – A 19-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on February 23rd, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the woman failed to attend court on August 27th, 2019 for a sexual assault charge and a warrant was issued for her arrest. During the investigation, it was learned the woman had changed her address and failed to notify police. On February 23rd, 2020, the woman attended police headquarters to deal with the matter. She was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and released to appear in court on March 24th, 2020. Her name not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Clarissa Square, 26, of Cornwall was arrested on February 23rd, 2020 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged on October 2nd, 2019, the woman was in possession of a bank card that did not belong to her, and fraudulently deposited a cheque into the bank account before withdrawing a quantity of cash. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, it was learned the woman had also allegedly changed her address without notifying police and a warrant was issued for her arrest. On February 23rd, 2020, she was taken into custody on the strength of the warrant and held for a bail hearing.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 25-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on February 23rd, 2020 and charged with two counts of breach of probation for being within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend and failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on February 16th, 2020, the man was within 100 metres of his ex-girlfriend’s residence and police were contacted to investigate. On February 23rd, 2020, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 26th, 2020. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
