IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Greg Markell, 27, of Cornwall was arrested on March 3rd, 2020 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged on March 3rd, 2020, the man was operating a motor vehicle while impaired by alcohol in the area of Seymour Avenue and Pine Street and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation, the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on March 12th, 2020.
SHOPLIFTING
Cornwall, ON – Shane Gougeon, 33, of Cornwall was arrested on March 3rd, 2020 and charged with theft under $5000. It is alleged on March 3rd, the man attended a Ninth Street business and removed merchandise, making no attempt to pay for the items as he left the store. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation, he was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 9th, 2020.
THEFT FROM MAIL, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Robert Thibeault, 36, of Cornwall was arrested on March 4th, 2020 and charged with theft from mail, as well as breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on February 10th, 2020, the man took a package that did not belong to him from a Prince Arthur Street residence and police were contacted to investigate. During the early morning hours on March 4th, 2020, the man was located by police. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 7th, 2020.
FAIL TO APPEAR FOR FINGERPRINTS, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Justin Rainey, 31, of Cornwall was arrested on March 4th, 2020 and charged with failing to attend for fingerprints and three counts of breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on February 12th, 2020, the man failed to attend police headquarters for fingerprints, despite the conditions of his undertaking, and an investigation ensued. On March 4th, 2020 the man was located by police. He was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on April 9th, 2020.
