BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 29-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on April 16th, 2020 and charged with breach of recognizance for communicating with someone he has conditions not to communicate with and for being within 100 meters of where that person might be. It is alleged on April 16th, 2020 the man attended his ex-common-law’s residence and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 23rd, 2020. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
CRIMINAL HARASSMENT, BREACH
Cornwall, ON – A 38-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 16th, 2020 and charged with criminal harassment and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged on April 16th, 2020 the woman communicated with her ex-common-law despite having been warned by police in the past not to. Police were contacted and an investigation ensued. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 25th, 2020. THREATS
Cornwall, ON – A 26-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 15th, 2020 and charged with threats. It is alleged the woman threatened to harm her neighbor on April 15, 2020 and police were contacted to investigate. The woman was taken into custody during the investigation, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 25th, 2020. ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON – A 40-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on April 15th, 2020 and charged with assault and breach of probation for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged during an argument an April 15th, 2020 the woman assaulted her boyfriend and police were contacted to investigate. The woman was taken into custody during the investigation, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 25th, 2020. IMPAIRED, OVER 80
Cornwall, ON – Shelley Bancroft, 49 of Ingleside was arrested on April 16th, 2020 and charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80. It is alleged in the early morning hours of April 16th, 2020 the woman was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol in the area of Thirteenth Street. She was taken into custody during an investigation, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on June 25th, 2020
