Long Sault ON – If you are going to look for a good cup of coffee or a package of fresh roasted beans at a farmers’ market this summer you are going to have to go to Long Sault. Yes, Coffey’s Coffee is moving. It will now be appearing at the Long Sault Farmers’ Market at the Long Sault Plaza.
There are no fancy city sponsored wooden pergolas here, just hard working local vendors with their trucks and tents offering good deals on local products. The market is coordinated by volunteers only and will be open on Friday afternoons from 2 PM to 6 PM from June 3rd to October 7th.
For all those people who for the last two years came to buy some fresh roasted Coffey’s Coffee on Saturdays, not to worry. You can still get your coffee fix at Island Ink-Jet and Laser Toners on any day of the week except Sunday. They are located at 8 Third Street West, just around the corner from Pitt St. You can stop in and have a fresh brewed cup, buy a package of beans from the shelf or place an order for the coffee of your choice.
So why not plan your weekend in advance and come on over to the Long Sault Farmers’ Market on Friday afternoon. That way you can have your fresh roasted coffee for breakfast on Saturday and you can linger over your very own fresh brewed cuppa instead of having to rush out before noon.
I hope to see you there.
All the best in your new spot there Reg…this is going to be great.
Good Luck Reg, but when you sell the best coffee you don’t need luck.
I had my Tanzanian Peaberry today!
