WARRANT
Cornwall, ON- Christopher Heisler, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on the 14th of March, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on the 14th of March, 2012 a warrant of committal was issued due to a surety revocation. He was held in custody until the 15th of March, 2012.
Cornwall, ON- Keith Mosher, 48 of Halifax, Nova Scotia was arrested on the 18th of March, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrants. It is alleged that on the 2nd of October, 2007 as well as the 2nd of November, 2007 he failed to report and warrants were issued. He was held in custody until the following day.
THEFT
Cornwall, ON- Marcus Vezina, 21 and Tyler Jodoin, 20 both of Cornwall were arrested on the 15th of March, 2012. It is alleged that on the 15th of March, 2012 they attended a Brookdale Avenue store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. They were detained by the store’s lost prevention officer and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. They were charged with theft under $5000.00 and released to appear in court on the 3rd of April, 2012.
Cornwall, ON- Kevin Simser, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on the 16th of March, 2012. He was bound by two undertaking with the condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 16th of March, 2012 he attended a Water Street store and removed property without making any attempt to pay for the items. He was detained by the store’s lost prevention officers and turned over to a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. He was charged with theft under $5000.00 and breach of undertaking. He was released to appear in court on the 10th of April, 2012 to answer to the charges.
IMPAIRED OPERATION
Cornwall, ON- Charlene Hickey, 21 of Wakefield, Quebec, was arrested shortly after 10:30 p.m. on the 16th of March, 2012. It is alleged that she was operating a motor vehicle on the Second Street West while under the influence of alcohol. She was charge with impaired operation and transported for further testing which resulted in a charge of over .80.. She was released to appear in court on the 29th of March, 2012.
Cornwall, ON- Barry Anderson, 54 of Cornwall was arrested on shortly after 5:30 p.m. on the 18th of March, 2012. It is alleged that he was operating a motorcycle on Alice Street while under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with impaired operation and ransported for further testing which resulted in a charge of over .80. He was released to ap[ear in court on the 29th of March, 2012.
BREACHES & WEAPONS
Cornwall, ON- A 17 year-old Cornwall youth was arrested on the 17th of March, 2012. The youth was bound by a Youth Criminal Justice Act Probation Order with the relevant conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and obey a curfew of 8:00pm to 6:00am daily. It is alleged that on the 17th of March,. 2012 shortly after mid-night the youth was found away from his residence by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division. Upon his arrest, he was found to have brass knuckles. The youth was charged with 2 counts of fail to comply with probation order, 2 counts of unauthorized possession of weapon and possession of weapon for dangerous purpose. The youth was released to an adult to appear in court on the 12th of April, 2012. The youth’s name was not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
BREAK & ENTER, POSSESSION OF BREAK & ENTER TOOLS
Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division arrested 2 males during the early hours of 17th of March, 2012. It is alleged that males were located inside a Second Street East garage and had removed property from a motor vehicle. Nathaniel Newton, 23 and Dylan Hempsey, 21 both of Cornwall were charged with break & enter to commit theft under $5000.00 and possession of break & enter tools. They were released to appear in court on the 10th of April, 2012.
BREACHES
Cornwall, ON-Alexandra Latulippe, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on the 17th of March, 2012. She was bound by an Undertaking with the relevant conditions to abstain from going to certain convenience store and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on the 15thof March, 2012 she attended the store and police were contacted. She was located and charged with 2 counts of breach of undertaking and held in custody until court the following day.
DOMESTIC ASSAULT, ASSAULT WITH WEAPON, MISCHIEF & DANGEROUS WEAPON
Cornwall, ON- A 27 year-old Cornwall male was arrested on the 18th of March, 2012. It is alleged that between the 17th of March, 2012 and the 18th of March, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 22 year-old common-law wife when he caused damage to a chair and wall, assaulted her and struck her with a cable. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with domestic assault, assault with a weapon, weapon dangerous and 2 counts of domestic mischief. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
DOMESTIC MISCHIEF
Cornwall, ON- A 44 year-old Cornwall female was arrested on the 18th of March, 2012. It is alleged that he got into an altercation with her 44 year-old husband when she damaged property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with domestic mischief and released to appear in court on the 17th of April, 2012. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.
ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- Jamie-Lyn Smith, 19 of Cornwall was arrested on the 18th of March, 2012. It is alleged that on the 18th of March, 2012, she assaulted a 22 year-old female stranger. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with assault and released to appear in court on the 24th of April, 2012.

IMPAIRED DRIVER
(South Stormont) – On March 17, 2012 at approximately 3:20 pm, members of the SD&G Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in the township of South Stormont.
The investigation revealed that Jeremy ROWE, 27 of North Stormont, Ontario, was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol when he was located and arrested a short time later by SD&G OPP officers.
He faces charges of:
- Impaired Operation / Motor Vehicle
- Exceed 80 Milligrams Blood Alcohol Content
- Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
He is scheduled to appear 24Apr12 in Cornwall court.
