13 games on the schedule today,but all eyes in Montreal and Ottawa will be on Alex Kovalev and how he does in his first game against the Habs.
Kovalev caused controversy during the exhibition season when he was quoted wanting to return to Montreal to end his career. It’s funny for someone who wanted to stay so badly that a dead couldn’t get done.
So far in Ottawa, after 6 games he’s only scored 2 goals with 0 assists. If the Habs aren’t careful he just might light up the scoreboard tonight.
The Leafs host the very hot New York Rangers tonight. Minnesota is in Vancouver while the Oilers and Flames get the night off.
