SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE REMOVED
Cornwall, ON- On the 16th of August, 2013 police were contacted in relation to unwanted property on Baldwin Street. Police attended the residence and a paper bag containing two explosive devices was turned over. Police believe the items were dated from years ago and that no criminal charges were warranted. The devices were transported by police to a safe area where the O.P.P. Explosive Disposal Unit attended and removed the devices without incident.
The Cornwall Community Police would like to thank our community for the understanding while city roads were cordoned.
this story is totally wrong I am the one who reported it and it was in my friends garage…and by the way it took the cornwall police 2 days to come get it out of the garage…and the RCMP also did nothing when I reported it
Typical Cornwall Police force either donuts went on sale or they were having supper over at one of two fire stations in town.
