BROCKVILLE WOMAN DIES FROM INJURIES
(Augusta Township, ON) – On May 15, 2015 at approximately 12:45am, officers of the Grenville Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) crash on County Road 21, Augusta Township.
The driver, 25-year-old Amanda GILLESPIE of Brockville, ON was transported to hospital in serious condition and later died from her injuries on May 17, 2015.
The passenger, a 22-year-old Augusta Township man, was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released from hospital.
The investigation determined that neither person was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The investigation is continuing.
