DRUG WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Ryan Royer, 23 of Cornwall was arrested on September 28th, 2016 as a result of a drug warrant that was executed at a Smith Lane residence. It is alleged on September 28th, 2016 members of the Cornwall Street Crime Unit executed a warrant at a Smith Lane residence and located a quantity of cannabis resin, marijuana, methamphetamine pills, Canadian Currency, brass knuckles and bear spray. Royer was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing. He was charged as follows:
- Possession of methamphetamine
- Possession of marijuana
- Possession Cannabis Resin
- Possession for the purposes of trafficking Marijuana
- Possession for the purposes of trafficking Methamphetamine
- Possession of property obtained by crime – Canadian Currency
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon
- Possession contrary to Prohibition of weapons.
- Breach Justice of recognizance
BREACH
Cornwall, ON – Savannah Cousineau, 21 of Cornwall was arrested on September 28th, 2016 and charged with breach of probation and undertaking for having consumed alcohol and for failing to keep the peace. It is alleged while investigating a disturbance on September 28th, 2016 the woman was found to be in breach of her conditions. She was taken into custody, charged accordingly and released to appear in court on October 25th, 2016.
Cornwall, ON – An 18-year-old Cornwall woman was arrested on September 28th, 2016 and charged with breach of a youth probation order for failing to abide by house rules and failing to keep the peace. She was also charged with breach of recognizance for being out past curfew and for failing to abide by house rules. It is alleged on September 28th, 2016 the woman failed to return home prior to curfew and police were contacted to investigate. During the investigation the woman was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. Her name was not released as the conditions stem from when the woman was a youth and is protected by the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
WARRANT
Cornwall, ON – Ray Greenwood, 28 of Cornwall was arrested on September 28th, 2016 on the strength of a warrant. It is alleged the man failed to attend court on August 29th, 2016 for breach charges and a warrant was issued for his arrest. On September 28th, 2016 members of the Cornwall Community Police Service attended Ottawa as Ottawa Police had the man in custody. He was transported to Cornwall and held for a bail hearing.
