Ottawa Charge THOMAS GERO For Threatening Journalist JAN 26, 2016 #cps

Ottawa Ontario – The Ottawa Police Service Central District Investigation Unit has charged Thomas GERO, 41 year old of Ottawa with Uttering Death Threats.

In the morning of January 20, 2016, GERO approached a female reporter who was doing a live broadcast on Clarence Street and threatened to shoot and kill her.  The incident was reported to police.

GERO was arrested today by Ottawa Police in the downtown area without incident.

He will be appearing in show cause court on January 27, 2016.

There are a lot of crazy people here in Ottawa but this takes the cake. Clarence Street is a mighty bad area – the market. I would never go there alone at all even back in the 70’s era it had a reputation. I have always been with someone and I remember being alone once and that was many years ago but not today.
