DOMESTIC MISCHIEF & BREACH

           

            Cornwall, ON- A 49-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on June 18th, 2012. He was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on June 18th, 2012 he got into an altercation with his 42-year-old common-law wife when he damaged a cell phone. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. He was charged with Domestic Mischief and Breach of Probation Order. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

 

FAIL TO APPEAR

 

            Cornwall, ON- Harley David, 23 of Akwesasne was arrested on June 18th, 2012. He was bound by an Undertaking with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on May 22nd, 2012 he failed to appear for fingerprints. He was charged with Fail to Appear for fingerprints and breach of Undertaking. He was released to appear in court on August  7th, 2012.

 

WARRANT

 

            Cornwall, ON- A 23-year-old Cornwall female was arrested on June 18th, 2012 under the strength of an outstanding warrant. It is alleged that on January 1st, 2012 she attended her 20-year-old sister’s residence unlawfully gained entry, damaged property and assaulting her. The victim did not require medical treatment. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. She was charged with Unlawfully in a Dwelling, Assault and 2 counts of Mischief. She was released to appear in court on July 24th, 2012. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

 

IMPAIRED OPERATION

 

            Cornwall, ON- Wendy Barnes, 59 of Cornwall was arrested shortly after 3:00 p.m. on June 18th, 2012. It is alleged that she operated a motor vehicle on Ninth Street while under the influence of alcohol. The female was charged with Impaired Operation and transported for further testing which resulted in a charge of Over .80. She was released to appear in court on June 26th, 2012 to answer to the charges.

 

COUNTERFEIT MONEY ARREST

 

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service assisted the RCMP Regional Task Force in arresting four male with uttering counterfeit money within the City of Cornwall. It is alleged that on June 18th, 2012 the four males attend several businesses on Brookdale Avenue and Vincent Massey Drive and uttered several counterfeit banknotes.

 

Thierno Bachir Camara, 18 of Laval, Quebec, was bound by a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. He was charged with Possession of Counterfiet money, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Breach of Probation Order and 5 counts of Uttering Counterfeit money.

 

Ramesh Ghafourzadeh, 26 of Laval, Quebec, was charged with 5 counts of Uttering Counterfeit money.

 

Junior Gregoire, 22 of Montreal, Quebec, was charged with 5 counts of Uttering Counterfeit money.

 

Spencer Toussaint, 24 of Laval, Quebec, was bound by a Recognizance with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour as well as a Probation Order with the condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. He was charged with breach of Recognizance, breach of Probation Order and 5 counts of Uttering Counterfeit money.

 

They were all held in custody until court the following day.

 

DOMESTIC BREACHES

            Cornwall, ON- A 46-year-old Cornwall female was arrested on June 19th, 2012. She was bound by an Undertaking with the relevant conditions to abstain from communicating directly or indirectly with her 47-year-old ex-boyfriend or from going to his residence; abstain from consumption of alcohol or other intoxicating substances and keep the peace and be of good behaviour. She was also bound by two Probation Orders with the conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and not to associate, contact or hold communication with her 47-year-old ex-boyfriend no exceptions; do not leave your residence if you have consumed alcohol; not attend Lennox Street south of Montreal Road; keep the peace and be of good behaviour. It is alleged that on June 19th, 2012 shortly prior 3:00 a.m. she was found under the influence of alcohol by a member of the Cornwall Community Police Service Patrol Division after police received information that she attend her 47-year-old ex-boyfriends residence. She was charged with 4 counts of breach of Probation Order and 3 counts of breach of Undertaking. She was held in custody until court the following day. Her name was not released as it would identify the victim in this incident.

THEFT & BREACHES

            Cornwall, ON- Three Cornwall youths, between the ages of 14 and 15, were arrested shortly before 4:00 a.m. on June 19th, 2012. It is alleged that on June 19th, 2012 they were found removing an item from a Water Street property. Police were contacted and an investigation followed. All three youths were bound by Probation Orders with the conditions to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. One of the youth had the additional condition of not to associate or communicate with anyone who uses or deals drugs. They were all charged with Theft under $5000.00 and breach of Probation Order. They were all released to appear in court on July 26th,2012. The youth’s names were not released as per provision under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

BREAK & ENTER

 

            Cornwall, ON- The Cornwall Community Police Service is investigating a break and enter that occurred between June 16th and June 18th , 2012 at a Water Street residence. It is alleged that the suspect(s) gained entry by a rear door and removed black computer tower, white keyboard, black mouse, Toshiba tube television, Iphone charger, Doctor Drake beats ear buds, 2 leather jackets and prescription pills.
