ASSAULT
Cornwall, ON- A 25 year old Cornwall woman was arrested on May 8, 2013. It is alleged that on this date she engaged in an altercation with her 39 year old common-law spouse where she assaulted him and threw objects at him. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. She was charged with Assault x 2 and Assault with a Weapon. She will appear in court on June 18, 2013.
Cornwall, ON- Lois Zeran, age 45, of Cornwall was arrested on May 8, 2013. She is bound by a Porbation Order with the relevant condition to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that on May 4, 2013, she assaulted a 70 year old male acquaintance. Police were contacted and an investigation was conducted. She was charged with Assault and Breach of Probation. She will appear in court on June 20, 2013.
IMPAIRED
Cornwall, ON- Darryl Plumadore, age 32, of Cornwall was arrested at approximately 2:30 a.m. on May 10, 2013. It is alleged that he was found operating a motor vehicle on Ninth Street while under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with Over 80 and Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He was released to appear in court on May 21, 2013.
BREACH
Cornwall, ON- Stewart Shaw-Allen, age 22, of Deseronto, Ontario was arrested by Napanee OPP on May 8, 2013 at the request of the Cornwall Community Police Service. He is bound by a Probation order with the relevant conditions to not communicate directly or indirectly with a 16 year old Cornwall female and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. He is also bound by an Undertaking by an Officer in Charge with the relevant conditions to not communicate directly or indirectly with a 16 year old Cornwall female and to Keep the Peace and be of Good Behaviour. It is alleged that he has been communicating on Facebook with the female between approximately January 20, 2013, and May 7, 2013. On May 9, 2013, he was transported to Cornwall by Cornwall Police Officers. He was charged with Breach of Probation x 2 and Breach of Undertaking x 2. He was held for a Bail Hearing on May 9, 2013.
UTTER THREATS (South Glengarry) – On May 09, 2013, at approximately 6:30pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on 164th Avenue, South Glengarry Township. Investigation revealed an altercation has occurred between a male and his spouse resulting in the male uttering threats to the female. A 64yr old man was arrested and is charged with; – Utter Threats He was released and scheduled to appear in Cornwall court on June 18, 2013.
