HOUSE FIRE
Cornwall, ON – The Cornwall Fire Department was called to 77 11th St East at 6:47 this morning in response to a single detached dwelling fire. The fire was extinguished and the body of a deceased person was discovered. It is unknown at this time if the death was as a result of the fire. The Ontario Fire Marshall, as well as members of the Cornwall Community Police Service Criminal Investigation Division are following up. The investigation is ongoing. It is unknown if foul play is suspected in the fire or the death.
