Coffey’s Coffee is proud to announce that they are now stocking the Gamea Fully Automatic Espresso Cappuccino Coffee Makers for sale. The Gamea is a perfect Christmas gift for the coffee lover in your family or business.

One of the things that impressed me the most about these machines beyond the technical specifications was the integrity and customer focus of the owner of the distributor.

Carlo Granito, a humanist entrepreneur and owner of Terra Coffee and Tea, told me a story about how impressed he was with these machines in comparison to his last Swiss supplier. From the old Swiss supplier he had purchased a couple for his own use and sold some to his friends as well. The first breakdown occurred after about 9 months of use. When they contacted the manufacturer they did not want them to open up the machine and the machine had to be returned for repair with a charge of $150.00 plus shipping. After the third return and charge of this kind they decided that they would do their own tear down and see what defect was causing this breakdown to happen. The source was found to be a tiny rubber gasket deep inside deep inside the machine. They contacted the manufacturer and asked if they could purchase these gaskets. The manufacturer said yes but they came in a kit costing $150.00.

Carlos contacted the manufacturer to discuss the ethics of this practice. The manufacturer refused to budge on his position so Carlos sold all of his remaining stock at a greatly reduced price and began searching for an ethical supplier of good home and small business espresso makers. And that was how he found the Gamea.

These machines are easy to use to get the best espresso, cappuccino. I have been enjoying a Generation 1 machine for over a year and a half now both at the Island Ink Jet Café and at home. The only learning that we had was that minimal daily maintenance is needed to keep it working effectively. Carlos told me that they are proud of the durability of their machines and that for the most part any break down will cost $15-20.

The second generation machines are even better. They are more compact, have more flexibility in cup size and are slightly quieter. They also come in three different colour schemes, Black Matte, Silver Pearl and Cocoa Silver. At a MSRP of $899.99 they are a good value for great coffee.
