Cornwall Ontario – Christmas may be over, but the River Kings are still in a giving mood.
The team has announced a special promotion for Saturday’s matchup vs. the defending champion Jonquière Marquis:

- NOTE: Does not apply to children tickets. No mixing and matching.
Action begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Complex.
SUSPENSIONS: The River Kings will be without head coach Steve Simoes for tonight’s road game in Rivière-du-Loup. Simoes was handed a one-game suspension by the LNAH for his gross misconduct in last Saturday’s home contest vs. Rivière-du-Loup. Kings forward Francis Lessard, who was assessed a 5-minute major for charging in that same game, will miss the next three contests, the league has announced.
RADIO: Tonight’s game at Rivière-du-Loup will not be broadcast on 101.5 The Fox. However, fans can log onto the River Kings Facebook page for a link to a live online feed.
SKATE WITH KINGS: Fans will get the opportunity to skate around the Ed Lumley Arena with their favourite River Kings players. On Sunday, Jan. 5, the River Kings host the Trois-Rivières Vikings for a 2 p.m. matinee and after the game, fans of all ages are invited to lace up their blades and skate with the Kings.
