CFN – Cst. Joel DOIRON was recognized with an award at the OACP Awards Luncheon, in Ottawa. Each received an engraved trophy and their names will be permanently displayed on a trophy at the Ontario Police College.
Provincial Constable Joel Doiron, S.D. & G. (Alexandria) Detachment, East Region was on hand to receive the School Resource Officer – Award of Excellence. This award recognizes an officer who has contributed to the overall well-being of students and the community at large in an exemplary manner – an officer who has strived to build the relationships required to bridge the gap between students, schools, communities, and the police. Joel obviously made a positive difference in his community through the development and delivery of student-directed programs and through the mentorship and leadership, supporting students to achieve positive outcomes.
