OPP Cst Dennis Hill Charged With Shoplifting Resisting Arrest at Carleton Place Walmart – July 16, 2014

CFN – A 13 year OPP vet has been charged with shoplifting and resisting arrest.   37 year old Constable Dennis Hill was charged with one count of theft under $5,000 for allegedly nabbing some electronics from a Wal-Mart in Carleton Place Ontario.

The OPP did not issue a release of this incident nor does it appear in any “blotter releases” where those charged with crimes are shared with media.

Hill  also faces internal charges under the Police Services Act. The charges will be dealt with after the criminal prosecution is finished.

The criminal charges have not been tested or proven in court.

Cst Hill is scheduled to appear in court in Perth on August 18, 2014.
