CORNWALL Ontario – 2010 Cornwall City Council contender Mr. Pat Finnerty passed away December 31, 2014 comfortably at home at the age of 79.
Mr. Finnerty made some striking points in his own manner during the election pointing out that the community needed “new blood” to lead.

Friends will be received at the McArthur Bros. & MacNeil Funeral Home & Chapel, 428 Second Street East, Cornwall on Sunday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Columban Roman Catholic Church, 36 Fourth Street West, Cornwall. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall. Memorial donations to Baldwin House gratefully acknowledged.

Such a mighty sweet man and I will always remember him. I have bookmarked his site which is above my post and have laughed as well as took it in seriously and he spoke the entire truth. My deepest condolences to Mrs. Finnerty and family. Pat was a very good man. I am so sorry to see a good man like Pat go so soon.
