CFN – OPP Confirmed that South Dundas lawyer and power player Peter Remillard died in a two vehicle collision.
According to their website Mr. Remillard was quite active in his community.

DRIVER SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES IN COLLISION (update)
(North Dundas) – On February 24, 2015 at approximately 9:05am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a two (2) motor vehicle collision on County Road 7, North Dundas Township.
A 2015 BMW Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), driven by Peter REMILLARD (62) of South Dundas Township was northbound on County Road 7 and a 2010 Dodge SUV, driven by a 40-year-old woman from North Dundas Township was southbound. For reasons under investigation, the vehicles collided head-on. Both drivers (lone occupants) were transported to hospital where REMILLARD was pronounced deceased from injuries sustained while the female driver of the Dodge suffered serious non-life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision investigators are at the scene assisting SD&G OPP officers. A section of County Road 7, between St-Mary’s Road and County Road 8 remains closed to traffic with detours indicated.
