BREAK IN
(North Dundas) – On August 7, 2015 at approximately 3:09pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers responded to a report of a break-in at a residence on French Settlement Road, North Dundas Township.
Investigation indicated that sometime between 2:30pm- 3:08pm on August 7, 2015 culprit(s) entered the home and removed electronics.
An investigation continues.
INDECENT ACT
(North Glengarry) – On August 7, 2015 at approximately 6:51pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an indecent act incident. Investigation indicated that an adult male driver had been observed performing an indecent act while parked at a business on County Road 20, North Glengarry Township.
Luc BEAUCLAIR (28) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Indecent Act – Public Place
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on October 7, 2015.
IMPAIRED DRIVERS
(North Dundas) – On August 7, 2015 at approximately 7:19 pm, a SD&G OPP officer intercepted a motor vehicle on County Road 31, North Dundas Township. The stop revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Steve SAUNDERS (49) of North Dundas Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on September 1, 2015.
(South Glengarry) – On August 8, 2015 at approximately 1:10 pm, a SD&G OPP officer responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on County Road 17, South Glengarry Township. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.
Gilles LACOMBE (32) of South Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on September 2, 2015
(South Glengarry) – On August 9, 2015 at approximately 1:06am, a SD&G OPP officer responded to a report of a motor vehicle travelling East in the Westbound lanes of Highway 401, South Glengarry Township. Officers were able to intercept the vehicle without incident. The investigation revealed that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.
Donald HALL (58) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Driving a Motor Vehicle while Ability Impaired
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
– Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on October 14, 2015.
THEFT
(South Glengarry) – On August 8, 2015 at approximately 7:08am, SD&G OPP responded to a report of the theft of a SEA-DOO and Trailer from Whimpy’s Marina on County Road 2, South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that sometime between(August 7-8, 2015), a 2005 SEA-DOO GTX and a 1900 Home white boat trailer were taken.
An Investigation continues.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATIONS
(South Glengarry) – On August 8, 2015 at approximately 10:57am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a domestic disturbance on County Road 2 in South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had struck his ex- girlfriends vehicle with his vehicle. There were no injuries as a result of the collision. Further information also revealed that the male assaulted the driver of the vehicle and caused damage to the vehicle by striking his fist against the hood and that the adult male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
The adult male (37) of Cornwall, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
-Assault
-Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
-Mischief – Under $5000
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order (6 counts)
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Recognizance (3 counts)
He was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall, Ontario. His name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
(South Glengarry) – On August 8, 2015 at approximately 5:51pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on Paragon Road in South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had threatened his common law spouse. Further information also revealed that the male caused damage to the home and that the adult male was in contravention of conditions imposed from a previous incident.
The adult male (34) of South Glengarry was arrested and is charged with;
– Uttering threats (4 counts)
– Mischief – Under $5000
– Fail to Comply with Conditions of a Probation Order
He was held in custody (bail) and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall, Ontario. His name is not being released to protect the identity of the victim.
(South Stormont) – On August 9, 2015 at approximately 10:30am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Dickinson Drive, South Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had continually contacted his ex-spouse.
The adult male (50) of South Dundas was arrested and is charged with;
– Criminal Harassment – Repeatedly Communicate
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall, Ontario on October 13, 2015.
RECOVERED DUMP TRAILER
(North Dundas) On July 27, 2015 SD&G OPP officers recovered a Lawn mower dump trailer: black in colour. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating an owner for the trailer. The Trailer was located near an address on Liscumb Road, North Dundas. If you have any information please contact SD&G OPP.
