OPP Charge 59 Year Old Woman with Bank Robbery in Elgin Ontario – AUG 12, 2015

(LEEDS, ON.) –   Officers of the Rideau Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation where a 59 year old female was arrested after a bank robbery in Elgin.
On the 11th of August 2015 at about 3:00 pm Ontario Provincial Police officers were notified of an occurrence where a female suspect with an edged weapon had just committed an armed robbery at a Bank of Montreal location in Elgin Ontario.
The female suspect, 59 year old Linda GRAY of Rideau Lakes Township was arrested immediately after without incident. There were no injuries to anyone involved.
Gray remains in custody pending a bail hearing on Wednesday 12th of August 2015 in Ontario Court Provincial Division – Brockville.
The investigation continues.
