  1. It is about time that these priests get the punishment that they deserve. Cornwall’s Project Truth was a disaster and a real cover up. The problem in Cornwall is if you are of a certain position in town you get looked at like a god and untouchable while these dirt bags get away with everything under the sun and destroyed many people’s lives. I have a good remedy for such people and they all should be literally castrated.

  2. I can’t believe that a “man of the cloth” could be guilty of such things.

  3. Furtz you are funny indeed. One thing is that they are wearing “soiled garments” and you know what they say about that in the Bible. These dirt bags are going straight to hell after the law of the land gets to them. The best is to lock them up for life and have them castrated. That includes doctors, lawyers, cops and all the rest of them involved.

  4. Jules for someone who states a belief in God and purports to be Christian you seem to forget that all mankind are sinners.

While justice on earth may be rendered and redemption for this poor soul possible he is obviously troubled. Pray first for his victims that they may be released from the shackles of their nightmares and secondly for this former priests soul.

Is your role to pass judgement on your fellow man?

  5. Jules writes -“The best is to lock them up for life and have them castrated”. What about the changing grace of God to change a vile person as this? Your religion knows nothing of such transforming grace – “Or do you not know that unjust ones will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be led astray, neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous ones, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor plunderers shall inherit the kingdom of God. And some of you were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God”( 1Co 6:9-11).

Note Jules what it says in verse 11 -“And some of you were these things…”. The root of the problem for these priests of Baal is that they are forced to submit to celibacy. No where in the Word of God does such a restriction exist, but it does say where the doctrine of celibacy comes from – “But the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, cleaving to deceiving spirits and teachings of demons, in lying speakers in hypocrisy, being seared in their own conscience, forbidding to marry, saying to abstain from foods, which God created for partaking with thanksgiving by the believers and those knowing the truth”(1Ti 4:1-3).

P.S. – Furts to you a “man of the cloth” is someone who doesn’t use a napkin properly after eating pasta during the worship of the Spaghetti god.

  6. Mr. Oldham you are a very good man and I have seen so much of this sexual abuse since the 50’s era among kids in my class when we had to go to church on every first Friday of the month. We all saw their reactions of the living hell that they all went through.

Mr. Oldham read what I posted to Pastor Newton. Jamie please print what I said to Pastor Newton and I want everyone to read it and educate themselves. This sexual abuse has to stop pronto.

Mr. Oldham I am a good Christian as good as I can be but there are limits to everything. These people have to be punished for what they did to so many other innocent people. I swant everyone to know. Jamie please priint what I said to Pastor Newton and for the people to know about. Thank you.

  7. Mr.oldham if everyone believied what your saying then why hold anyone accountable well just pray for them.Keep abusing the children you are a sick person but prayer will help you see the light of day.

I promise never to past judgment on your ways.Just like that farce of an inquiry.

  8. We all Know Pedophiles can not be succesfully treated for their sexual disfunction ? So why then don’t we brand a big ” P ” on their heads so other parents in all communities can recognize these offenders and children can be trained to stay away from these men ?

  9. shovelhead – this is what really needs to be done for all of us -“We all Know sinners can not be succesfully treated for their sinful disfunction ? So why then don’t we brand a big ” S ” on their heads….”.

This is what the Bible has to declare about all of us – “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes”(Rom 3:10 – 18)

Why doesn’t God just throw as all into hell? We all deserve it! We can not change our sinful heart, nor do we want to. Only hope -“And some of you were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God”(1 Cor. 6:11) God is in the transforming business!

So shovelhead are you going to be first to get the “S” on your forehead?

  10. Marc L. …I do not believe that you read what I wrote. Let me paraphrase…Christianity embraces the concept that all men are sinners…mankind has its own justice system…Leger is troubled and if he owns what he did and asks for forgiveness Christianity declares that he may receive redemption from God (not mankind)…his victims deserve first consideration…he is accountable and if the crimes are acknowledged he might not languish in hell (therefore “pray for his soul”)…if judgement is ultimately in the hands of a Christian God than mankind may meter out its own justice but the final outcome is the Lords, not mans.

Marc L. I hope that mankinds justice for Leger is well represented and I, being a Christian, look forward to the day that he answers to his God and mine.

  11. David as a professing Christian you should be more like your God – Eze_33:11 “Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die…”. Remember Messiah Jesus wept over apostate Jerusalem!

Yes a sinner can be redeemed in this life through faith in the “blood of His Cross”, and still have to suffer, to experience the consequences for the sins committed in this body. Such suffering is not meritorious in anyway, nor does it present anything like “purgatory”. But this present redemption will include “new life in Christ”. If I was a pedophile before I received salvation, I won’t be one afterwards. If I am still, I have not been redeemed! I am yet in my sins, though I profess to be a Christian, I am still a stranger to God saving grace.

Biblical standards and justice should be applied by a country for all sexual sins, including divorce, sodomy, fornication, incest, rape, polygamy, and many more. That doesn’t mean the death penalty for all. Mercy and restraint can be applied and still remove from society those that continue in such immoral life styles. Lock them up, and throw away the key, but all the while working on saving their souls by presenting to them the good news of the Gospel.

Pro 14:34 “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people”.

  12. Author

Question Pastor Tom. If a pedophile sought redemption and wanted to attend your church would you accept them?

  13. Sinners Jesus will receive – our church has, and will continue to do so. Receive them, yes, accept their perverted life style – no! I am not saying victory is easy, but I know that victory is there, and I experience it all the time, all by His grace and power.

  14. Author

That doesn’t really answer the question. Would you accept a pedophile that is seeking redemption as a member of your church?

  15. First Jamie – we receive into membership only those that profess new life in Christ and show some biblical evidences of being saved from the power/pleasure of their enslaving sins. This is Biblical, and also Baptist.

All are welcome to attend preaching/gospel services with the understanding that God came to save us from our sins, not in our sins. If they are sincerely seeking a biblical relationship with God via the Lord Jesus Christ, they are welcome to come and listen.

If one comes in with only the intention of “worshiping” God while openly violating the Scriptures by living in open sin that is clearly condemned, such would be commanded to repent – break off such sins by “new life in Christ”. This is not from the pulpit necessarily, but in private one on one conversion – biblical pastoring. The Lord Jesus Christ is a friend of sinners; so am I. He came to save us from our sins – forgiveness, and then “new life in Christ”. Both have to be there to really say one is saved. Being religious and playing church is seriously dishonoring to God, and all you will get for it is a free ticket to Hell.

  16. Pastor Tom with all due respect my relationship with my God is between him and I. I appreciate that your version or interpretation of Christianity has its own slant. I make no judgement on your beliefs and would appreciate equal respect in return. Religion is a deeply personal experience in my opinion and not something to be imposed but rather acquired.

Admin forgiveness does not mean unaccountable in my opinion. I may forgive but I never forget. Until a solution to pedophilia is found how can society and children be safe if a pedophile is simply released back into society? One victim is a tragic occurrence. A repeat offense by a pedophile is societies fault and an even greater tragedy because we failed to protect our children from a now known offender. Just my opinion.

There are other churches, he or she doesn’t need to come to mine, that is my right.

  17. Author

David the question was directly served to Pastor Tom. I have my own opinions on pedophiles as I’m sure do many others.

  18. David writes – “Admin forgiveness does not mean unaccountable in my opinion. I may forgive but I never forget”. So lets say you lived in the times of Saul of Tarus. Who know who he is? Right David? In his service of his religion, he puts Christians to death. He puts some of your family members to death! You can read Acts 9 for Saul’s conversion, and his attempt to joined the Jerusalem church and was refused. He was not refused for long, as Barnabas came along side Saul and gave a creditable witness of Saul’s “new life in Christ”.

But now Saul of Tarus is a believer in Messiah Jesus. If I would apply your rule David, I would be kicked out of the local church for having a “an unforgiving spirit ” towards another brother in Christ. What changed the murderous Saul Tarus into the loving Apostle Paul – is the same grace that can save a pedophile and change him or her into a loving, holy Christian. Do you believe that?

David that doesn’t dismiss the now born again Christian who use to be a pedophile being branded as a “sex offender” for the rest of their lives here on earth, and being restricted from being around children of a certain age. Such is the consequence of one’s sins – there is grace available to deal with such things.

Consider what the Apostle Paul says of himself – 1Ti 1:16 “But for this reason I received mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, for an example to those being about to believe on Him to everlasting life”. Again the verse I gave from 1 Cor. 6 – “And some of you were these things, but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God”(1 Cor. 6:11). Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners – what does that mean to you David? Is the way God saved Saul, is that the way God saved you?

  19. Once again PTN DOESN’T answer the question. He dances around the question with the greatest of ease you’d think he was a square dancer.

  20. Hugger1 – the answer is -“we receive into membership only those that profess new life in Christ and show some biblical evidences of being saved from the power/pleasure of their enslaving sins. This is Biblical, and also Baptist”.

  21. You are of course right Admin. I apologize for weighing in uninvited.
