OPP Seek Witness After Jogger Run Down Near Brockville Ontario OCT 21, 2015

(Lansdowne, ON.) – Officers of the Leeds and Thousand Islands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to seek witnesses in an investigation where a lone female jogger was struck in the Charleston Lake area of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township. It is believed the female was struck by a vehicle, its cargo, or possibly a vehicle accessory. The vehicle fled the scene.

On the 24th of July 2015, at about 10:00 AM a lone female was jogging on the south shoulder (heading east) on Woodvale Rd. She was located on the roadside by a passing motorist. She was in need of medical assistance.

The 34 year old female from the Ottawa area was transported to hospital in Kingston with non-life threatening injuries.
