SEXUAL ASSAULT INVESTIGATIONS

(South Glengarry) – On October 18, 2015 – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into a report of a sexual assault incident which had occurred in September 2015 at a residence in South Glengarry Township. Investigation indicated that an adult male had been sexually assaulted by the accused male.

Vaillancourt-picDenis VAILLANCOURT (70) of Lasalle, Quebec was arrested on October 29, 2015 and is charged with;

– Sexual Assault

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Alexandria on November 18, 2015.
 (South Dundas) – On November 3, 2015 at approximately 5:22am, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a sexual assault incident which occurred on a commercial bus travelling on Highway 401, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that an adult female was sexually assaulted by the accused male.

Hans CAICEDO (35) of St-Catharines, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;

– Sexual Assault

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Morrisburg on December 15, 2015.

 

IMPAIRED DRIVER CHARGED

(South Stormont) – On November 2, 2015 at approximately 3:28pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a vehicle being driven erratically on Highway 401, South Stormont Township. Officers intercepted the vehicle and investigation revealed the vehicle had been involved in a single motor vehicle collision (entered median) and that the adult male driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Joseph HANNAH (25) of South Stormont Township was arrested and is charged with;

– Driving a Motor Vehicle While Ability Impaired
– Care or Control of a Motor Vehicle with Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol in Blood
– Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on November 26, 2015.

UPDATE – BEAUDOIN-REICHMANN DEATH INVESTIGATION
3rd man arrested

(KEMPTVILLE, ON) – The Grenville County Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), under the direction of Detective Inspector Peter Donnelly of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), with the assistance of the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) have arrested and charged a 3rd man involved in an investigation into the suspicious death of 27-year-old Deepak BEAUDOIN-REICHMANN, of Niagara Region, who was reported missing by family members on October 5, 2015.‎

‎During the evening of Monday, November 2, 2015, members of the Ottawa Police Service located and arrested 20-year-old Kyle RobertCLERMONT, of Ottawa at a residence in Ottawa without incident.‎

He is charged with:

1.   Indignity to a Dead Body

2.   Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence

David Robert LOJK‎, 26 and Matthew Vincent BENOIT‎, 30, both of Ottawa, remain in custody.

Clermont is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville, ON, today, November 3, 2015.

The OPP would like to thank the media and their Social Media followers for assisting in ‎the investigation.

The body of Beaudoin-Reichmann was discovered deceased shortly before 6:30 pm on October 14, 2015 in the area of County Road 18 and County Road 20 – east of Bishop Mills in North Grenville. The cause of death has yet to be determined.

Ontario Provincial Police News Portal [GRENVILLE COUNTY (Kemptville)] Serious Single Tractor Trailer Motor Vehicle Collision 2015-11-03

FROM/DE: Grenville County – Prescott Detachment      DATE: November 3, 2015(Prescott On)  Members of the Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police, Prescott Detachment are presently (10:00 am) investigating a serious single Tractor Trailer Motor Vehicle Collision on the 401 Highway Eastbound at Prescott.

The driver of the Tractor Trailer, a 45 year old male is being transported via Air Ambulance to hospital. Extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

The 401 Highway eastbound lanes between Maitland (mile marker 705) and Johnstown (mile marker 721) will be closed for approximately 4 to 5 hours.

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO FIREARM AND DRUG SEIZURE

(ALFRED-PLANTAGENET, ON) – On October 26th, shortly before 9:30 pm, Hawkesbury OPP officers, Stephanie Fortin-Provost and Marc Lauzon intercepted a 2010 Toyota Camry on County Road 17 in Alfred.

During the execution of the traffic stop, the driver was found in possession of illicit drugs. Cannabis Marijuana, baggies, packaging and money was found in his vehicle.

Consequently, the driver, Bilaal MOHAMMED (29 yrs) of Sainte-Genevieve, Quebec was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following section:

– 5(2) Poss of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of Trafficking- under 3 kg

The street value of the seized Cannabis Marijuana is estimated at $1,540.

Further investigation revealed that the driver was carrying a loaded handgun on his person. He was then charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following sections:

– 88 Possession of Prohibited device or ammunition for Dangerous Purpose

     – 90 Carrying concealed weapon

– 91(1) Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm

– 94 Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited or restricted weapon

– 95(b) Possession of Prohibited or Restricted Firearm/ammunition

– 354(1)(a) Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000 – in Canada

The driver was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following sections:

– 62(19) Improper number plate light

     – 73(1)(a) Windshield obstructed

He was not released and kept for a bail hearing scheduled the next day on October 27th, 2015 at L’Orignal court.

                                             

TRAFFIC STOP = DRUGS SEIZURE

(ALFRED-PLANTAGENET, ON) – In the night of October 28th, shortly after midnight,

Constables Stephanie Fortin-Provost and Marc Lauzon intercepted a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire on Concession Road 4 in Alfred-Plantagenet.

Interaction with the driver resulted in the discovery of illicit drugs which included Marijuana, Speed and Ecstasy, with an estimated street value of $1,793.

The driver, Carl PROULX (37 yrs) of Kipling Street in Hawkesbury was arrested and charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with the following sections:

– 4(1) Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

– 4(1) Possession of a Schedule II substance-Cannabis Marihuana – over 30 grams

– 4(1) Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Other Drugs

– 4(1) Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Methylenedioxyamphetamine (Ecstasy)

Further investigation revealed that the driver was also in breach of court conditions. He was consequently charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following section:

– 733.1(1) Fail to Comply with Probation Order

He was later released and scheduled to appear at court on December 09th, 2015 in L’Orignal.

 

 

UPDATE – STOLEN SAFE WITH ARCHIVES FOUND IN GRENVILLE, QC

(EAST HAWKESBURY, ON)  – On Friday October 30th, the Hawkesbury Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) retrieved a safe located in a ditch of a rural area in Grenville, Quebec. The investigation revealed that the safe belongs to the St-Joachim Church in Chute-A-Blondeau in East Hawkesbury which had been victim of a break & enter in September 2015.

The recovered safe was heavily damaged by the culprits who tried to access its content without success. It is believed that the content could possibly be damaged by water infiltration.

The OPP Forensic Identification Services assisted in the investigation.

The safe and its content have been returned to the St-Joachim Church.

The Hawkesbury OPP Crime Unit is still investigating.

IMPAIRED DRIVER

(EAST HAWKESBURY, ON) – In the night of November 01st, shortly after 1:30 am, Hawkesbury OPP officers responded to a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Pattee Road near County Road 17 in East Hawkesbury.

The driver had lost control of his 2011 black Ford Escape when approaching a curve, ending up in the ditch. The driver did not sustain any injuries.

Constable Walter Vandergoten investigated the incident.

Interaction with the male driver gave the officer reason to believe that he had operated his motor vehicle with blood alcohol content over 80 mgs.

Consequently, the driver, Daniel TREMBLAY (36 yrs) of East Hawkesbury, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code of Canadawith the following section:

– 253(1)(b) Driving with More than 80 mgs of Alcohol in Blood.

He was also charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following section:

– 130 Careless Driving

He was later released and scheduled to appear at court on November 18th, 2015 in L’Orignal.

DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION

(CHAMPLAIN, ON) – On Sunday evening November 01st, shortly before 11:00 pm, Hawkesbury OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence on County Road 17 in Champlain Township.

Investigation revealed that the adult male was in contravention of conditions imposed from previous incidents, as he attended his ex-girlfriend’s residence and was intoxicated.

A 32-year-old male from Champlain was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code of Canada with the following section:

– 145(3) Fail to Comply with Undertaking (3 counts)

He was not released and kept for a bail hearing scheduled the next day on November 02nd, 2015 at L’Orignal court. The name of the accused person is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.

One lane of the 401 Eastbound is expected to be open at approximately 3:00 pm; the eastbound on ramp from Prescott will remain closed for some time. ( Further update upon opening of 401)

(Prescott On)  At approximately 8:30 am on November 3rd, 2015 members of the Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police, Prescott Detachment were called to a single Tractor Trailer Motor Vehicle Collision at the onramp to the 401 eastbound lanes at Prescott.

The tractor trailer failed to negotiate a curve and rolled trapping the driver in the cab of the tractor.

Prescott Fire Department along with Augusta Fire Department was able to extricate the male driver who was taken to hospital via Air Ambulance.

The driver, a 45 year old male sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Members from the Grenville Ontario Police (OPP), OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators, Leeds and Grenville EMS, Prescott Fire, Augusta Fire along with Air ambulance were on scene.

The investigation is continuing.

  1. It is long overdo for the priests to get charged with their sexual abuse. The rest of them should all be charged. The Vatican has been protecting these perverts for way too long.
