Cornwall Ontario residents are digging out after heavy freezing rain has made roads and walking perilous. No relief is set until the weekend when temperatures are predicted to reach +7 on Saturday.
Power was out overnight for over three hours in Cornwall.
Cars are iced up with heavy piles of snow in front of homes from plowing. With a low low expected of -15c and a high for Thursday of only -10c people will be braving the ice until the wet stuff starts again on Friday.
