2016 has been a rough year for the Ford.
Over 2.35 million vehicles in Canada, the United States and Mexico have now been recalled.
The list includes:
- 2013-15 Ford C-MAX and Ford Escape.
- 2012-15 Ford Focus.
- 2015 Ford Mustang and Lincoln MKC.
- 2014-16 Ford Transit Connect.
A spring tab in the door latch could break, leaving the door to either not close or pop open.
Ford has been dealing with the door-latch issue since 2014, resulting in the recall of at least three million vehicles.

Mazda is recalling over 2 million vehicles due to corrosion issues of the rear hatch
Mazda’s recalled:
- 2016 CX-3.
- 2013-2016 CX-5.
- 2010-2013 Mazda3.
- 2012-2016 Mazda5.
Vehicle owners should be notified before November.
