Nationals add two more prior to Sunday’s home opener
CORNWALL ONTARIO – With their inaugural Federal Hockey League home opener just days away, the Cornwall Nationals have come to terms with two more players.
General Manager Mitch Gagne has inked deals with defenceman Michael Pregent and forward Sylvester Bzdyl.
Pregent, a 28-year-old defenceman from Valleyfield, has appeared in 32 LNAH contests, including a pair of games with the Cornwall River Kings in 2014-15.
Bzdyl, a 25-year-old forward, played overseas in Poland last season, appearing in 13 games with the STS Sanok.
Cornwall hosts the Danville Dashers on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 1 p.m.
Game day tickets are $13 for adults, $10 for seniors/students and $5 for children ages 12 and under.
Kids wearing a Halloween costume to Sunday’s game will be entered into a draw for great prizes.
Meanwhile, season tickets are on sale and can be purchased at the Cornwall Nationals office, located downstairs at the Civic Complex. Prices are $290 for adults, $230 for seniors (60+) and students (13 to 18) and $115 for children 12 and under.
