(LEEDS, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation into a suspicious vehicle that fled from police.
On the 6th of January 2017 at about 8:30 a.m. Ontario Provincial Police officers, in Leeds and the Thousands Township were notified of a suspicious vehicle at a residence on Ellisville Road in Leeds and the Thousand Islands Township. The vehicle and occupants were observed by police, at which time the vehicle – a 1998 Red Dodge Ram Pickup truck, fled from officers despite failed attempts to stop it. The vehicle had been previously stolen from the Kingston area.
The vehicle was later located in Rideau Lakes Township. OPP are now making a plea to the public.
