MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION – HIGHWAY 401 EASTBOUND CLOSED
(South Glengarry/Stormont) – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) and Highway Safety Division (HSD) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are presently at the scene of a motor vehicle collision involving three (3) Tractor-Trailer units on Highway 401, eastbound near Boundary Road, South Glengarry Township. Eastbound traffic is being re-routed at the Boundary Road exit via Emergency Detour Routes (EDR – signs posted).
Adverse weather conditions continue to affect the area, motorists are urged to drive accordingly and be cognizant of emergency personnel and towing operators tending to scenes. Their safety depends on you!!

MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION – HIGHWAY 401 EASTBOUND RE-OPENED (update)
(South Glengarry/Stormont) – Highway 401 eastbound lanes have re-opened (12:25pm).
At approximately 10:15am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) and Highway Safety Division (HSD) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving three (3) Tractor-Trailer units on Highway 401, eastbound near Boundary Road, South Glengarry Township. No spills or injuries resulted.
Since the start of the storm, SD&G and HSD OPP officers have responded to a total of 66 traffic related calls for service (Stormont-17, Dundas-16, Glengarry-33).
Adverse weather conditions continue to affect the area, motorists are urged to drive accordingly and be cognizant of emergency personnel and towing operators tending to scenes. Their safety depends on you!!
