#OPP Charge Man Carrying 30g Marijuana During Hwy 43 B & E APRIL 20, 2017

TWO MEN CHARGED AFTER DAYLIGHT BREAK AND ENTER.

 

(Township of Drummond North Elmsley, ON) – On Monday 17th April 2017 at about 01:55 pm officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a Break and Enter, in progress, at a business on County Road 43, in the Township of Drummond North Elmsley.

 

The owner of the business had seen a white U-Haul Truck backed up to a house that is used for storage for the business. Two men were at the house.

 

Both men were arrested at the scene.

 

Ryan HENRY (28 years) of the City of Ottawa is charged:

 

One (1) Count.                              Break and Enter.

 

One (1) Count.                               Possession of Break In Instruments.

 

One (1) Count.                               Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

 

All the charges are contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

 

 

Darcy RYAN (31 years) of the Municipality of North Grenville is charged:

 

One (1) Count.                               Possession of Break In Instruments.

 

One (1) Count.                               Enter a Dwelling with intent.

 

Two (2) Counts.                            Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

 

All the charges are contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

 

RYAN is further charged:

 

One (1) Count.                                Possession of Cannabis Marihuana over 30 grams.

 

Contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

 

 

 

Both men were held in custody pending a Bail Hearing at the Provincial Court in the Town of Perth.
