(LEEDS, ON.) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police are continuing an investigation after court testimony in Brockville court.
On October 23, 2017 members of the Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police Crime Unit entered into an investigation after an accused person made an attempt to influence a witness.
27 year old Katherine COLLINS of Brockville was arrested and charged with Obstructing Justice, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.

Those messages were turned over a day before the trial and read allowed in court by the woman who received them, Kate Lynch.
“If I get off and sue I will throw you some money for loyalty.”
The messages went on to suggest that the witness tell the crown, Claudette Breault, the video came from a “fake facebook account.”
She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Provincial Division in Brockville on November 24, 2017 to answer to her charge.
