STOLEN VEHICLE
(NORTH DUNDAS,ON) – On December 7, 2017 at approximately 5:17pm, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of an ATV from Boyne Road, North Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that sometime December 7, 2017 between 4:15pm-5:15pm a 2011 Yellow CANAM Outlander ATV with Ontario Licence Plate (6BV75) and with 28″ tires and a radiator relocation kit was removed from the property.
An investigation continues.
STOLEN TRAILER
(SOUTH DUNDAS,ON) – On December 8, 2017 at approximately 7:38am, Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a theft of a Utility Trailer from a Residence on Heritage Road, South Dundas Township. Investigation indicated that sometime December 7-8, 2017, a 2015 Black Home Triton V-Nose trailer with Ontario Licence Plate (N9268E) with various tools inside was removed from the property.
An investigation continues.
DOMESTIC INVESTIGATION
(NORTH STORMONT,ON) – On December 8, 2017 at approximately 4:54pm, SD&G OPP officers responded to a report of a domestic situation at a residence in North Stormont Township. Investigation indicated that an altercation had taken place between a male and his common law wife. The Investigation revealed that the male had damaged property at the home.
A 39-year-old male from North Stormont, Ontario was arrested and is charged with;
– Mischief
The male was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall on January 9, 2018
His name is being withheld in order to protect the identity of the victim.
EXCESSIVE SPEEDS
(SDG) – On December 8-9, 2017, SD&G Ontario Provincial Police officers conducted speed measuring enforcement on Highway 401 and County Road 34 and intercepted the following vehicles for traveling at excessive speeds. The vehicle were impounded and the driver’s permit seized for seven (7) days in accordance to policy.
– December 8, 2017 – 7:47am (South Glengarry) vehicle stopped travelling 132km/h (80km/h zone). Male driver (20) from South Glengarry, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
– December 8, 2017 – 10:09pm (South Stormont) vehicle stopped travelling 151km/hr(100km/h zone). Male (25) from Brampton, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
– December 9, 2017 – 12:42pm (South Glengarry) vehicle stopped travelling 171km/hr(100km/h zone). Male (39) from Mississauga, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
– December 9, 2017 – 8:16pm (North Glengarry) vehicle stopped travelling 134km/h (80km/h zone). Male driver (42) from Russell, Ontario was charged with Stunt Driving (Highway Traffic Act).
